Liquid Assets Website

Liquid Assets is a wine storage company. They store wines for their clients at the optimum temperature and humidity, so that the wines may mature to their full potential.
All the best features of the website are locked away for account holders only. So unfortunately I can’t really show them. Have a look through the ‘help’ section on the Liquid Assets website which will give a bit more background on some of the work i’ve done on the site.

Flash Text Editor

A flash text editor that ties in to a custom content management system for a website that Smart Solutions built. The editor needed to support adjusting the size and colour of the text, as well as inserting hyperlinks.
The editor pulls in some predefined styles via a CSS style sheet, so that users could easily style text to fit with the rest of their site. Also predefined links where supplied to the users, (feed from an xml file) so that they could easily link to other parts of the site. Or if need be, to another site. Not an bad editor that is only 20kb in size!

Simple layouts are often best

I often feel that simple layouts are the best. Just the bare elements on the page, add a touch of style to the elements, and ‘bang!’ you’ve got an interface which shouldn’t confuse and distract the user. Of course the real challenge is to keep it simple as the inevitable layers of data are added.
(This is mock-up for a client, with their name obscured for privacy reasons)

Greensborough cycles website

I like my bikes, and I was fortunate enough to make a website for one of my favourite shops.
This website can a simple quick loading interface, with all the websites content coming from the shop’s product database. Employees of the shop are able to administer the database and upload photos to the site via a custom built interface.
This website shares it’s database and image library with it’s other slightly bigger shop burnswick street cycles. As the two shops have the same owners.
